Die Dreigroschenoper – Photographs
Tonight I saw the pre-premiere of the Dreigroschenoper. Albeit I had seen the show twice before, being able to concentrate entirely on the play itself rather than photographing it is always a completely different experience. I really enjoyed the performance. The actors did a great job, the director and his team made some interesting changes since last week. The only thing I didn’t like was a weird siren sound effect which I found rather ridiculous.
I’ve been told that all the regular shows in the Grand Théatre are already sold out, but if you want to get an idea of what the play looks like, below are some of the photographs I had already taken of the production for press packs and the programme booklet.

Die Dreigroschenoper
The University of Luxembourg stages Die Dreigroschenoper by Bertold Brecht and Kurt Weill in the Grand Théatre in Luxembourg City. I took the photograph used for the poster (below) and a number of photographs for the programme. Tickets for the shows from Arpil 13th to 20th can be booked here. I will upload some pictures after the opening night.
